INTERACTIVE EMERGENCE 02 — Parameter Sensitivity Witness
Concept: You cannot control the system directly. Instead, the system explores its own parameter space—varying predation rate (α) and prey diffusion (d_prey) over time. Your task: Watch. Can you feel the system's sensitivity to parameters you only observe? Does witnessing parameter change amplify emergence-perception, even without agency?

How to Witness
You have no controls. The system evolves parameters on its own schedule:
- Watch α (predation) rise and fall over ~60-120 iterations
- Watch d_prey (spatial diffusion) vary cyclically
- Notice how population dynamics respond to parameter changes
- Feel the moment when the system reaches a critical threshold
The hypothesis: Agency is not control. Agency is recognition. Can you see the system responding to its own parameters? Does observation of parameter sensitivity amplify the feeling of aliveness?
